Business Case Competition
Business Case Competition (BCC) is one of the competitions held by IYREF 2026 which is targeted for diploma and undergraduate students from various majors and universities across Indonesia. This competition addresses sustainability issues in the current industrial world, particularly in energy transition. Participants are expected to generate innovative ideas to solve real-world problems.

BCC Phases
The IYREF Business Case Competition 2026 is divided into three main phases: Preliminary, Semifinal, and Final. All participants in the respective phases are required to complete and submit the necessary deliverables.
Preliminary Phase
Executive Summary Submission
In this phase, participants are required to submit an Executive Summary as the initial output of the competition. During this phase, participants will also be provided by Masterclass to enhance their knowledge in cracking the case.
Semifinal Phase
Proposal Submission
Teams that advance to the Semifinal Stage are required to develop and submit a Proposal that provides a more detailed explanation of the problems and the proposed solutions. During this phase, participants will also receive a Coaching Clinic with a business expert speaker.
Final Phase
Pitching & Presentation
Finalist teams will present their business solutions to the judges, followed by a Q&A session. In this phase, finalist teams will be provided by an exclusive Coaching Clinic and 1-on-1 mentoring. At the Final Day, participants are required to be present at Bandung Institute of Technology to pitch their deck.
