Science Project Competition is a competition where participants undertake a research/scientific, write their results, and share it with others in an exhibition. In IYREF’s SPC we want to give an opportunity to youth in creating new innovations to solve the most pressing challenges in regards to the environment and our rapidly changing climate. Those who innovate will open doors to futures previously unknown. Bring forth your idea and innovation, make progress, show it to the nation, for there are many to impress!

SPC Stages
The IYREF Science Project Competition 2025 consists of three stages: proposal submission, project report submission, and final presentation. Each stage requires teams to complete specific deliverables to advance.
Stage 1
Proposal Submission
Teams submit a project proposal outlining their research background, methodology, and objectives. The top 20 teams will advance to the next stage.
Stage 2
Project Report Submission
Qualified teams submit a detailed project report covering their research findings, analysis, and conclusions. The top 5 teams will move to the final stage.
Stage 3
Final Presentation & Exhibition
Finalists present their projects at ITB, including an exhibition, presentation, and Q&A session with judges.
